E’ adesso disponibile per la fase di testing la versione 6 Beta del rivoluzionario Content Management System Drupal.

Tutti gli user del sistema di gestione dei contenuti Drupal saranno lieti di sapere che lo script PHP realizzato da Dries Buytaert ha una nuova versione disponibile per la fase di testing, la 6.0 Beta. Tra le migliorie che lo sviluppatore ha promesso ci sono un miglioramento nella gestione dei feed RSS 2.0 ed un incremento nella velocità nella gestione dei contenuti. Prima dell’installazione dei singoli moduli è necessario dare uno sguardo ad i moduli che hanno subito update o upgrade sul sito ufficiale.

Google and the mith of the Pagerank

If we look at the traffic of websites, specially blogs, the main source of users is Google. Webmasters are now obsessed about how to reach the best placements on google’s page results and there are misterius theories about how to reach the first place and the best pagerank. Google its been around for quite a while now and the strategy to reach the best page ranks is always been a secret. Any company (especially internet companies) with a good ranking and appropriate keywords have more traffic to their sites, therefore more people look at their products and so there are more potential buyers. Big responsability for Google and its PageRank is to direct people to the right direction, so to the best contents. Reading on the internet, SEO blogs think there are so many tools to make a website a SEO website, my idea is very different. Researching on the web for the best pageranks I have noticed a few things that made all SEO blogs theories fool, there are pages on websites pageranked 8 without the <html> initialisation tag. Is that enough? NO? OK go and look at the source code of Webmasters Tools of Google, There is no DOCTYPE, no meta, no description, is that possible? Yes, Simple. Google has always said what their aim is to make code and machines be as humans, with statistical softwares google’s crawlers analyse the web looking not just for new sites for mainly for good contents. No wonder Wikipedia has huge rankings. The second thing that Google takes in consideration is: if this site has good contents, other people will read them and link to them, that’s why backlinks are considered important, important but not indispensable.

Se diamo una sguardo al traffico dei siti web, specialmente a blogs, la principale risorsa di traffico è Google. I webmaster sono ossessionati su come raggiungere i migliori piazzamenti sulle pagine dei risultati di Google e si sono ultimamamente sviluppate misteriose teorie su come raggiungere il primo posto ed il migliore PageRank. Google è ormai in giro da un bel pò e le strategie di piazzamento sono sempre state un segreto. Qualsiasi compagnia specialmente compagnie internet con un buon pagerank ed appropriate keyword hanno un ritorno in traffico sui loro siti, più traffico per loro vuol dire più gente che vede i loro prodotti quindi più potenziali clienti. Grande responsabilità per google ed il suo Pagerank è dirigere utenti nel posto giusto quindi nel posto con i migliori e più appropriati contenuti. Leggendo su Internet, mi sono perso nel mare di tool che vengono proposti da SEOBlogs. Una ricerca sul web però mi è bastata a rendermi conto che tante sono solo storie. Surfando alla ricerca di pagine web con i migliori pagerank mi sono imbattuto in pagine senza tag d’iniziazione <html> con un pagerank 8! Un’altro semplice esempio è il sito webmasters tools di google stesso che non possiede DOCTYPE, niente meta e nessuna description. Google ha da sempre descritto il suo ruolo sul web, cercare di rendere una macchina cosciente di ciò che legge, i loro software statistici analizzano contenuti sul web e seguendo una serie di standard selezionano i migliori contenuti per i migliori ranking. Altra cosa che Google pensa è: se un sito ha dei buoni contenuti, altre persone li leggeranno e li citeranno nei loro siti, svelata la teoria di google sui backlink, per la teoria sui contenuti ed i Page Rank? Buoni contenuti!

The Google documentary is one of the most interesting I have ever seen, it doesn’t tell anything about who made the documentary but it looks like is not a google product… too many embarrassed faces while asking about privacy, sharing, Gmail. Enjoy!
